Pizza with Ranch
Thanks to a bottle Syna brought with her, I had pizza with ranch for dinner. I also got me some chicken nuggets, just to make sure they still tasted as good as I remembered with ranch too. They do.

Syna in Sevilla!
Syna with me in Sevilla!!!!! I could hardly believe it.
Of course the heat was torture so we played in the water
Sevilla brings out your alter-ego - SEE!
We slept outside on my roof because it was too hot to sleep inside. It was so nice waking up to a blue sky with my best friend
She loved the cathedral!
The view from the belltower. See the swimming pool - that's our next stop.
Me, by the pool...
and super cute Syna by the pool.
Us at the Alcazar
Syna surrounded by beauty...and tourists
Me with the garden. I'm lucky to have a friend who takes such beautiful photos.
Syna in a tiny staircase
Syna with a tiny door
Me with La Girlada
Syna with La Giralda
And this place was not only Mrs & Mr T's favorite place BUT SYNA'S TOO!
The last day we went to Triana. The bridge behind Syna was designed by the same guy who did the Eiffel Tower - Gustav Eiffel.

And then Syna left me for London.
Our time was brief but so fun.
I miss her already.

Syna's Song(s)
So I wrote a song for Syna and I do it as a verse of bulerías but I also made it just a folk song. And here they are, starting with the folky one.
And here's the baby-sized bulerías; it's embarrassing but that's never stopped me before. Also it's not done. I'm going to make it longer AND BETTER!! (Hopefully.)

the 1st orange
I saw the 1st orange of the new season today!
I hope by the time I leave the trees are full of them again.
And did you know that although Sevilla is known for oranges there are no oranges that are actually grown here for commerce - this is olive country. Although the oranges that grow, all around the city, are picked by the government towards the end of February/beginning of March, and they are sold to England and made into marmalade. They are horrible tasting and marmalade is all they're good for - ask Lizehte and Ken! We tried one together when they were here - it was grosser than gross.
Syna in Zarautz...
where the chalet meets the beachfront!
They have cute changing tents all along the beach.
The old men all look like this; beret and all.
Look how warm it is at 8:30pm.
Our friend Mikel took us to get lessons at his surfing club/school.
Our surfing school.
Our surfing instructor
Péru, our unofficial guide & brother of Mikel, telling me all about basque politics.
In the next town over - I forget the name but it should be called "Super Basque"
Péru & Syna
Syna and her new stuff AND I GIGANTIC COCKTAIL
Me coveting her new suitcase (piece-of-shit broke really fast)

My favorite restaurant - we ate a tongue sandwich
Syna tried foie gras - she was so brave!
Teresa with the brie (Syna's favorite!)
Alvaro with the bacaloa
And me with txocoli (pronounced chocoli), it's like a cider/white wine

Syna & Teresa looking cute
Syna loves little doors
It's hard to see us in this photo but Syna's smile comes across loud & clear, so I like it
The neighborhood catedral
A little ceiling that Syna loved
