I love flamenco song lyrics (letras) like I love limericks & haiku.
What is it about them that makes them so great? (I asked myself.) The momentum - the simplicity? They can be so touching, sometimes funny, sometimes beautiful - sometimes sad or ugly - and sometimes they don't even make sense! But always honest & perfect!
I'm going to try and write my own bulerias. It's sort of like writing a limerick or haiku, which I do all the time so it shouldn't be too hard. The spanish will be the hard part...maybe I'll write about Syna coming to visit. (YEAH!)
